Kie.ai is one of the cheapest ways to reach the big image and video models: one key, prepaid credits, dozens of models. It is also an API — made for code, one request at a time. Onyx.AI puts batch tools on top of your own Kie.ai key, at Kie.ai's own price, and lets you send the same batch to another provider when that one is cheaper for the model you need.

Kie.ai pricing, in plain words
Kie.ai sells credits in advance and spends them per generation. The price depends on the model, the resolution and, for video, the length: a 1080p clip costs more per second than a 720p one. The current prices are on Kie.ai's own pricing page — they change, so check there rather than on any blog post. Onyx.AI adds nothing on top: your credits pay Kie.ai, the module pays for the tools.
The Kie.ai API, without code
- Get a key. Create it in your Kie.ai dashboard and add credits there.
- Add it once. In Onyx.AI, Settings, API keys. It is used for your own generations only.
- Run batches. Pick Kie.ai as the provider in the tool you are using — Image & Video, Face Swap, Carousel, Motion Control, Upscale — drop the files, press Start.
- Keep going. Results land in your library, ready for captions, a distinct file per upload, and delivery to Google Drive or Telegram.
Looking for a Kie.ai alternative?
